Named for all the Iranian conservative officers who sacrificed their lives in order to keep the wild environment, and especially for Mr. Saeid Parham (1980 - 2009), the conservative officer in Khorasan-e-Shomali Province, who was killed in a battle with illegal hunters near the type locality (near the border of Turkmenistan).
